Kategorie: Herbal Teas

A good herbal tea isn't thrown together — it's built. Every blend in this collection is carefully crafted with a balance of ingredients meant to work together, formulated with whole-body wellness in mind, not just flavor. The answer to what a blend actually needs shapes how we brew it, and how we tell you to brew it too.

How We Build Every Blend

Each tea is hand-mixed in small batches from cut herbs, chosen for how they layer together — flavor first, so you'll actually want to drink it, then formulated around a traditional wellness purpose. We don't default to a single go-to formula and rename it; every blend in this collection is built herb by herb for what it's meant to do.

Decoction, Not Infusion

An infusion is what most people think of as "making tea" — pour hot water over the herb, let it steep a few minutes, and drink. It works fine for delicate leaves and flowers, but it only pulls out what water can grab quickly on the surface. A decoction goes further: the herb sits in water for an extended soak, then simmers under direct heat, giving the water time to draw out the deeper, harder-to-reach constituents that a quick steep leaves behind entirely.

Every blend in this collection is brewed as a decoction, not an infusion — even our leaf and flower blends, not just the roots and bark that obviously need it. We brew this way because a full soak-and-simmer draws out a fuller, more complete range of what the herb has to offer than steeping alone ever could. It takes longer, and it's more work than a tea bag. That's the tradeoff we've chosen to make.

Why We Brew the Way We Do

Most of our blends follow the same method: an overnight soak to gently draw out what hot water alone would rush past, followed by a short one-minute simmer to finish the extraction. Root- and bark-heavy blends, like our Detox Tea, need more time in contact with heat, so those simmer for a full fifteen minutes instead of one. Each listing tells you exactly which method that blend calls for, so you get a proper cup every time — not a guess.

Standard blends are brewed at 2 tablespoons per 20oz of water and can be reused for up to three days once prepared. Browse the full collection below for blends built around digestion, sleep, immune season, and more.
