Wild Mediterranean Oil of Oregano | Non-GMO | 85% Carvacrol | Immune & Digestive Wellness Support

Wild-Harvested Turkish Mountain Oregano - Steam Distilled - Cold Pressed - Minimum 85% Carvacrol - Diluted in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Available in 1oz (30ml), 2oz (60ml) & 4oz (120ml)

The ancient Greeks called oregano "joy of the mountains" — and the wild oregano growing in the high mountain ranges of Turkey and the Mediterranean has earned that name many times over. Oreganum vulgare has been considered a precious botanical commodity for over 2,500 years, with a long history of traditional use across folk medicine systems that span the globe. In his landmark book The Cure is in the Cupboard, Dr. Cass Ingram brought Oil of Oregano to a new generation of wellness seekers, documenting the remarkable breadth of traditional and emerging research behind carvacrol, oregano's primary active compound. Carvacrol has been the subject of over 800 published scientific studies — an extraordinary number for a single plant compound. Our Wild Mediterranean Oil of Oregano is sourced exclusively from wild-harvested Origanum vulgare grown in the mountainous regions of Turkey, steam distilled without chemical extraction, and guaranteed to a minimum of 85% carvacrol per batch.

Product

  • Wild Mediterranean Oil of Oregano (Origanum vulgare) — Minimum 85% Carvacrol
Carefully blended from three high-mountain, wild oregano plants and diluted in organic extra virgin olive oil for safe and easy use. It takes over 1,000 pounds of wild oregano plant to produce just one pound of true Oil of Oregano — a concentration that preserves the full spectrum of carvacrol and thymol, the two naturally occurring plant phenols responsible for this oil's characteristic warm, penetrating aroma and its celebrated place in the natural wellness world. Our oil is steam distilled, never extracted with chemicals, and wild-harvested from oregano grown free of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. The carvacrol rating is tested per batch and guaranteed at a minimum of 85%.

How to Use

Recommended Dosage — Internal: Take 2 or more drops under the tongue or in juice or water daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. As Dr. Cass Ingram has noted, individual responses to Oil of Oregano can vary significantly — some people find benefit at lower doses while others may require more. Start with a lower dose and adjust gradually while listening to your body.

Topical Use: Apply diluted to the desired area of skin. A small amount of carrier oil may be added for those with sensitive skin. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive skin areas. The warming sensation upon application is normal.

Herxheimer / Nourishing Crisis Note: Some people beginning Oil of Oregano experience temporary fatigue or mild flu-like sensations as the body adjusts. This is a well-documented response in traditional herbal practice sometimes called a "nourishing crisis" or Herxheimer reaction. If this occurs, reduce your dose and increase your intake of pure water (8-12 glasses daily) to support the body's natural elimination. Once symptoms pass, you may gradually resume your regular dosage.

Please Note: As a natural product, consistency and aroma may vary slightly between batches due to seasonal and geographic variation in the wild-harvested plant material — a sign of its authenticity and purity.
