Colección: Liver & Gallbladder

The liver is your body's largest internal organ, and one of the hardest working — filtering the blood, processing everything you eat and drink, and playing a role in hundreds of the body's everyday functions. Keeping it running at its best isn't a one-time fix; it's ongoing support, which is what this collection is built around.

A collection centered on herbs long used in traditional wellness practices to support healthy liver function and bile duct wellness — milk thistle, dandelion root, turmeric, and schisandra among them, alongside our Detox 17 Kit formulas.

Two Different Ways These Herbs Work

Not every liver herb does the same job. Hepatoprotective herbs like milk thistle are traditionally valued for supporting and protecting liver cells themselves — think of them as working on the organ directly. Choleretic and cholagogue herbs like dandelion root and turmeric work differently: they're traditionally used to stimulate the liver's own bile production and encourage that bile to flow, supporting the digestive and detoxification role bile plays once it leaves the liver. Schisandra sits in its own traditional category as an "adaptogenic" liver herb, valued for supporting the liver's resilience to everyday stressors more broadly. Most of our formulas, including Detox 17, blend more than one of these approaches together rather than relying on a single mechanism.

Our Detox 17 Kit is a favorite here and is well suited for those who have had their gallbladder removed, since it focuses on liver and bile duct support rather than gallbladder function specifically.
