The root of Glycyrrhiza glabra is naturally rich in glycyrrhizin — a triterpenoid saponin that is approximately 50 times sweeter than sugar and the primary studied active compound — along with flavonoids (including liquiritin and isoliquiritin), isoflavones, chalcones, polysaccharides, and naturally occurring coumarins. Glycyrrhizin and its metabolites have been the focus of extensive research for their relationship to the body's natural anti-inflammatory and immune-modulatory functions.

How to Use

Recommended Dosage: Take 1 capsule three times daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare provider. It is recommended to limit continuous daily use to no more than 6 weeks at a time, followed by a 3-week break before resuming, due to the potential effects of long-term glycyrrhizin accumulation on blood pressure and electrolyte balance.
