Collection: Sleep & Calm

Long before anyone bottled anything, people were still reaching for the same handful of plants at the end of a long day — a cup of something warm, a few drops under the tongue, a ritual as much as a remedy. Chamomile is probably the oldest of these rituals still standing — a nightly cup that's crossed cultures and centuries without ever really going out of style. Valerian root has been tucked under pillows and steeped into teas for generations. Passion flower climbs quietly through old kitchen gardens, grown specifically for the evenings it was meant to ease. Lemon balm has been crushed and rubbed between palms just for the scent alone, long before anyone thought to put it in a capsule. None of this is new. We're just continuing a tradition that's been quietly working for a very long time.

Calming herbs with a long tradition of supporting relaxation, a settled nervous system, and restful sleep — chamomile, valerian root, passion flower, lemon balm, skullcap, and blends like our Dream Time and Good Vibe teas. Our Magnesium Oil belongs here too — rubbed into the soles of the feet before bed, it's one of the simplest, oldest relaxation rituals we carry, no dropper or capsule required.

Passion flower and St. John's Wort in this collection carry important medication interaction notes (MAOIs and a range of common prescriptions, respectively) — each listing covers what to check with your provider before starting. Chamomile belongs to the ragweed family, so it's worth a quick check if you have a known ragweed or daisy-family allergy.
