• 100% Pure Organic Cold-Pressed Hexane-Free Castor Oil (Ricinus communis)
  Extracted from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant — native to Africa and cultivated extensively in India, which accounts for over 90% of global castor oil exports — our oil is cold-pressed without hexane or chemical solvents, preserving the full spectrum of naturally occurring compounds. Castor oil is naturally rich in ricinoleic acid (approximately 90% of its fatty acid content), along with linoleic acid, stearic acid, vitamin E, and naturally occurring antioxidants. The extraction process removes ricin, a toxic compound found in the raw seeds, leaving a pure, safe, and deeply nourishing vegetable oil. The FDA classifies castor oil as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for both topical and internal use.

How to Use

Hair & Scalp: Apply a small amount to the scalp and massage in gently. Can also be worked through the lengths of the hair as a conditioning treatment. Leave on for 30 minutes to overnight, then wash out. Use 1-3 times weekly for best results. A little goes a long way — castor oil is very thick.

Skin: Apply a small amount to the desired area of skin and massage in gently. Suitable for use on the face, body, eyebrows, and eyelashes. When applying near the eye area, use very sparingly and keep away from the eyes themselves.

Castor Oil Pack (Traditional Detox Practice): Soak a piece of clean flannel or cotton cloth in castor oil and apply over the abdomen. Cover with a layer of plastic wrap and apply gentle warmth (a warm water bottle or heating pad on low) for 45-60 minutes. This traditional practice, long used in natural wellness and naturopathic traditions, supports a sense of warmth, relaxation, and abdominal comfort. Use 3-4 times per week as part of a regular wellness routine.
