Traditional Adaptogen - Also Known as Siberian Ginseng - In Organic Grain Alcohol - Zero Additives - Zero Fillers - Zero Binders

Available in 1oz, 2oz & 4oz Amber Glass Dropper Bottles

Used for over 2,000 years in traditional Chinese and Russian herbal medicine, Eleuthero is one of the most respected herbs in the adaptogen family. Known traditionally as Ci Wu Jia in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where it was used to nourish "qi," the body's vital energy, Eleuthero is also commonly called Siberian Ginseng, though it is not a true ginseng and belongs to its own distinct botanical genus. Our Eleuthero Root Tincture is made from pure Eleuthero root, preserved in organic grain alcohol with nothing else added.

Herbal Ingredient

  • Eleuthero Root (Eleutherococcus senticosus)
A woody shrub native to the mountainous regions of eastern Russia, China, Korea, and Japan, Eleuthero root is naturally rich in compounds called eleutherosides, which have been studied for their relationship to the body's stress response. As an adaptogen, Eleuthero has traditionally been used to support the body's ability to adapt to physical and mental stress, helping maintain a sense of balance and resilience. Traditional herbalists have noted it is generally gentler than true Panax ginseng, making it a popular choice for both younger adults and the elderly seeking general vitality support.

How to Use

Recommended Dosage: Take 10 drops under the tongue or in 2oz of juice or water, 1 to 2 times daily. Shake well before use. As a natural product, consistency, aroma, and taste may vary.

Please Note: Keep away from eyes and out of the reach of children. This tincture is preserved in organic grain alcohol. Some traditions recommend taking Eleuthero earlier in the day, as it may be stimulating for sensitive individuals.

Traditional Wellness Uses

  • Energy & Vitality Support — Eleuthero has a long traditional history of use for supporting physical endurance and easing everyday feelings of fatigue.
  • Stress Response Support — As a classic adaptogen, Eleuthero has traditionally been used to support the body's ability to adapt to and recover from physical and mental stress.
  • Immune Wellness Support — Eleuthero is naturally rich in polysaccharides, compounds traditionally associated with supporting healthy immune function.
  • Whole-Body Resilience — A traditional choice in both Russian and Chinese herbal practice for supporting overall vitality, particularly during times of physical demand or seasonal transition.

Possible Side Effects & PrecautionsEleuthero is generally well tolerated by most people, with few reported side effects in typical use. However, please review the following before use.
  • Trouble sleeping is the most commonly reported side effect, particularly if taken later in the day. Consider taking earlier in the day if this occurs.
  • Mild stimulating effects may be too strong for some sensitive individuals; if this occurs, reduce the dose or discontinue use.
  • Autoimmune conditions: Because Eleuthero may stimulate immune function, those with autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or Crohn's disease should avoid use, as should those who have had an organ transplant or are taking immunosuppressant medication.
  • Hormone-sensitive conditions: Some compounds in Eleuthero may have mild estrogen-like activity. Women with a history of uterine fibroids or estrogen-sensitive cancers should consult their healthcare provider before use.
  • History of schizophrenia or related conditions: Due to Eleuthero's neuro-stimulatory effects, those with a history of schizophrenia should avoid use.
  • Medication interactions: Eleuthero may interact with sedatives, steroid medications, heart disease medications, and diabetes medications. Consult your healthcare provider before combining Eleuthero with any of these.

Safety Note: As is the case with taking any supplement while you are pregnant or breastfeeding or taking medication, you should always consult your healthcare professional prior to usage.
