Collection: Skin & Beauty Support

Long before there was a skincare aisle, there was tallow. For centuries, rendered animal fat was simply what people had on hand — the byproduct of raising and using an animal for food, turned into something that kept skin from cracking through hard winters and hard work. Grandmothers rendered it in big pots on the stove. Nothing about it was fancy, and nothing about it was wasted. It worked because it's built almost identically to the fat naturally found in human skin, which is part of why it absorbs the way it does instead of sitting on the surface like so many modern, plant-oil-based creams. We didn't invent this. We're just still doing it the way it was done before there was a store-bought alternative to reach for instead.

Herb-infused salves, oils, and tallow creams formulated to support healthy, nourished skin — calendula, rosehip, frankincense, and our full line of whipped tallow creams, all slow-infused rather than rushed.

Outside In, and Inside Out

This collection covers two different approaches to skin support, and they work differently. Topicals — our salves, oils, and tallow creams — support skin directly at the surface, where they're applied. Internal formulas — herbs like Bee Pollen, Camu Camu, Yellow Dock, and Fo-Ti Root, taken as capsules — traditionally support skin from within, through their naturally occurring antioxidant and nutritive compound profiles rather than direct surface contact. Neither approach replaces the other; many people use both together as part of a broader skin wellness routine.
